Skills

Primary Skill:
Intermediate Tester
Secondary Skill:
Beginner Sound Effects
Summary:
Communicating:
- I feel it necessary to provide usable feedback when testing games. This feedback must be objective and detailed. I also feel it important to include issues that may affect the fun factor of playing.

ACIDPro 3.0
- My experience with this software package has been great and frustrating at times. Limited by my own lack of knowledge on how to fully utilize this software. I am self-taught, and have been mixing loops for nearly a year and a half. I have lots of fun creating tracks, with the intent that others will enjoy it as much as I do.

Gaming
- Who hasn't? [Edited out all of my gaming experience, since it really has no merit to technical or application issues]

Programming
- I don't know how to program, but I have read C/C++ code many times trying to figure it out. I have programmed in BASIC but have long since forgotten what I had learned. I DO want to learn how to code (especially games). I have purchased (and read) "C for Dummies" vol 1 & 2. I have an active subscription to Game Developers Magazine. I don't have a compiler, which is probably the reason why I don't know how to program. Reading all that code and not applying it gives me tired head.

The psychology of [our] workplace
- After having read the book "The Set-Up-To-Fail Syndrome" by Jean-Francois Manzoni & Jean-Louis Barsoux from Harvard Business School Press, I became even more fascinated with workplace psychology and how it relates to us all. I do this because I would like to eventually be managing projects. I have a desire to work well with others. I have managed other people in the past unrelated to the gaming/software industry, and I crave to be in that [managing] position again. I feel my skills are best utilized when I am in a position to impart my knowledge and experience unto those that will take that knowledge and better themselves with it.

Recently
- I have downloaded the RealmWars version 0.0.1.
- I have downloaded Hammer 3.4 and will tool away until I feel I've mastered the software
