- I've been a software engineer since 1984, and have worked in a variety of industries. Business, Education, Telecoms, and currently Defence.
I have been a C/C++ programmer since 1987 with extensive commercial experience. I use the stl and boost libraries in my projects, along with design patterns, generic programming techniques, and software unit testing techniques.
I have also been involved in the management of software teams as a Team Leader. As part of this, I have promoted recognised software engineering techniques both in my teams and within the companies that I have worked for.
