- Being a first-year student, I do not have many programming skills...yet. I am working hard to learn as much as I can about Torque, TorqueScript, C++, game design, game art (2D and 3D), and independent development in general. And I am trying to do this all while I maintain my course work, which is no easy task. However, I press onward in learning and trying to maintain a 3.5 GPA. I have no work history in the field of games, unfortunately, but with the help of GarageGames and Torque I hope to change that by getting some experience in game creation and start to build a portfolio.
