I have a great deal of experience in drawing and painting, and am very profiencient in the use of Photoshop and Maya. I am skilled as well in After Effects and Premiere for video editing.
Work History (3d Modeling/Video game related)
2008- Began work on a survival horror game with a small team, intending to distribute commercially. Currently in planning stages.
2007/08- Began working on a 3d scene for an upcoming movie. I am currently modeling an entire city in a dark futuristic motif for a vampire action film, along with some CG special effects to be added into live scenes. Live action scenes will also be blended into the video clip of the CG city at the micro level to provide seamless transitions. The city is extremely detailed from the top down, and in one area extra attention is being paid to allow for very close up shots. About 90% complete, intended to be complete at the end of February 08.
2006- Began work on a 3d environment utilizing the Irrlicht open source engine. It was intended to be a virtual reality program, using the Emagin Z800 and a P5 Glove for stereographics and haptic feedback. The program was going to utilize physics and collision with the on screen rendering of the glove position, providing the user the ability to handle objects in real time and with no scripting. However, the project did not get to that point- The friend that was going to help me with the programming did not do so. Currently, the VR Explorer can load an area with gravity and collision detection, display in stereoscopic 3d, and load some objects that cannot be interacted with. About 50% complete, likely never to be finished.
